HAUNTED, the one-night Kim Dracula and Criss Angel show set for October 24, 2026 at the Criss Angel Theater inside Planet Hollywood, Las Vegas, is off for that date and postponed to 2027. Tickets are being refunded, and no new date has been set.
The statement, carried in full by The Mosh and Metal Anarchy on October 3, put it down to the size of the production: “The scale and complexity of bringing HAUNTED to life has required more time than originally anticipated to fully realize the show as envisioned.” It describes the show as “an extraordinary production, featuring innovative new technology and ambitious production elements,” and closes with a promise: “We hope to have a new date to announce soon and will share more details as soon as it is confirmed.”
A horror-metal act in a magician's theater on the Strip, a week before Halloween. The idea survives; the date did not.
What was HAUNTED supposed to be?
When FOX5 Las Vegas reported the announcement on June 18, it called HAUNTED a “theatrical concert experience” blending Kim's heavy, theatrical sound with Criss Angel's stage illusions, billed as a “revolutionary concert spectacle of illusions, music and terror.” The set was expected to include live versions of “Paparazzi,” “Make Me Famous,” “Killdozer” and “Drown,” with a limited run of “Ultimate VIP Haunted Experiences” that included a backstage meet-and-greet.
The room made sense for it. Criss Angel's own site sells his nightly MINDFREAK show there as an “immersive concert of magic” with lighting, video, pyro and more than 50 illusions. Pairing that stage with an artist whose audience arrived through a phone screen was a bet that the spectacle could travel both ways: Angel's illusions dressed in a metal set, and Kim's fans walking into a Strip showroom that might never have been on their map. The postponement statement suggests the build got bigger than the calendar allowed, not that the idea died.
It also fits the catalog. The Kim Dracula wiki traces the path from the Hobart band Jesterpose to the 2020 “Paparazzi” cover and a 2023 debut album, A Gradual Decline in Morale, split into three acts named for the stages of a magic trick: The Pledge, The Turn and The Prestige. Theatrical horror keeps finding room on the margins of pop, from KiNG MALA's cunt noir to the darkwave revival.
Where does this leave the Rise Records era?
HAUNTED was meant to cap Kim's summer. Blabbermouth's July 22 report on Kim signing to Rise Records listed it as the closing date of an itinerary that ran through European festivals including Wacken Open Air, Brutal Assault, Festival 666 and Motocultor. The new single “Molecular Conversion,” the first new song since the 2025 single “In Threes,” is Kim's debut on Rise, after earlier records through Columbia via the Order of the Snake imprint. Melodic describes it as balancing calm and chaos, jazzy vocals against a heavy breakdown, with a Max Moore-directed video set on a sunlit outdoor stage.

The postponement means that chapter's big live moment moves into 2027.
I have tickets for October 24. What should I do?
- Watch for your refund. The statement says tickets “are currently being refunded,” so check the account and card you bought with.
- Do not buy October 24 seats now. As of October 13, 2026, at least one Las Vegas listings site, Concerts.Vegas, still shows HAUNTED on October 24 with tickets for sale. Treat any such listing as stale.
- Wait for an official 2027 date from Kim Dracula or Criss Angel before buying again.
When a new date does land, it will be the Rise era's first big stage, and a test of whether a magician's room on the Strip can hold a crowd that grew up online.
