Mötley Crüe Book Eight Shows at Caesars Palace’s Colosseum for Spring 2027, Their Fourth Las Vegas Residency

Mötley Crüe will play eight shows at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas from March 19 to April 3, 2027, billed as Carnival of Sins in Sin City. It is the band’s fourth Las Vegas residency. Fan-club and Citi presales open October 20, with the public on-sale October 23.

The dates are March 19, 20, 24, 26, 27 and 31, then April 2 and 3, every show starting at 8 p.m. The presales come in tiers: members of the band’s free S.I.N. Club and Citi cardmembers on Tuesday, October 20 at 10 a.m. PT (Citi’s window runs until 10 p.m. PT on October 22), then Caesars Rewards members and Live Nation customers on Thursday, October 22, before the general sale on Ticketmaster on Friday, October 23 at 10 a.m. PT. No ticket prices had been published as of October 19, 2026. A portion of ticket proceeds goes to Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth, a Las Vegas nonprofit.

The announcement promises “stunning visuals” and a fan-voted setlist that includes “songs returning to the stage for the first time in decades.” It names no lineup. Heading into the 2026 tour, the guitarist was John 5, who took over in October 2022 when founding guitarist Mick Mars stepped away from touring because of ankylosing spondylitis.

Where does the name Carnival of Sins come from?

It reaches back to the band’s 2005 to 2006 Carnival of Sins tour, which Live Nation has described as “a full-scale production that pushed the limits of live shows.” A night from that run, recorded at Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Michigan, on April 27, 2005, became the Carnival of Sins Live album and DVD in 2006.

This summer the band revived it as The Return of the Carnival of Sins, a 33-city Live Nation tour with Tesla and Extreme that opened July 17 in Burgettstown, Pennsylvania, and ran through September 26 in Ridgefield, Washington. The Vegas run is that production moved indoors and parked: the press release says the band is bringing “the hugely successful Carnival Of Sins tour” to Caesars. On the summer dates, “Take Me To The Top” came back into the set for the first time in 42 years.

Why does a band with a farewell contract keep returning to Las Vegas?

In 2014 Mötley Crüe made a signed Cessation of Touring agreement the centerpiece of The Final Tour, which ended on New Year’s Eve 2015 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. On November 18, 2019, the band released a video of itself blowing that contract up.

Las Vegas has been the steadiest answer since. The 2025 residency was first set for spring and was moved to September over what the band then called a required medical procedure. When the shows finally opened, Vince Neil revealed he had suffered a stroke on Christmas night 2024 and had to learn to walk again. A residency lets a singer who came back from that, in a band marking its 45th anniversary in 2026, play a full production without loading out every night. Eight shows over 16 days in one room is a very different ask from 33 cities in ten weeks.

The farewell contract was about the road. Las Vegas lets Mötley Crüe keep the show and lose the bus.

What does the residency model mean for heritage rock now?

The Strip is booking rock acts at every scale. Santana has added 16 dates for 2027 at House of Blues inside Mandalay Bay, stretching a residency that began in 2012 into its fifteenth year. Ultimate Classic Rock calls it the city’s longest active rock residency. Metallica’s 24-show Life Burns Faster run at Sphere is booked through March 13, 2027, six days before Mötley Crüe’s opener.

The ticketing tells the rest. Like the subscriber-first sale on U2’s new stadium tour, this one rewards the most committed buyers first: the fan club, then a card partner, then the casino’s own loyalty program. For a band whose 1981 debut gets a 45th anniversary box set on October 30, that loyalty is the business, and older songs are most of what it sells.

The first test comes Tuesday at 10 a.m. PT, when the S.I.N. Club and Citi presales open.
