Shakira's Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran Passes $534 Million to Become the Highest-Grossing Latin Tour Ever

Shakira's Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour is now the highest-grossing Latin tour in history. Through October 4, 2026, the run had grossed $534,380,976 and sold 4,084,398 tickets across 118 shows, according to Pollstar Boxoffice, moving it past Bad Bunny's stadium trek for the all-time Latin record.

The record, in numbers

Pollstar reported on October 16 that the tour has passed Bad Bunny's DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS World Tour, which grossed $443,403,120 across 57 shows. Next on the list are Luis Miguel's 2023 comeback tour, at $415,849,128 from 2,861,491 tickets, and Karol G's Mañana Será Bonito Tour, at $304,960,266 from 2,279,749 tickets.

Multi-night stands helped build that total. She has played Mexico City's Estadio GNP Seguros 13 times on this tour, selling 724,306 tickets for $84.1 million, and she drew 129,389 fans across five shows at Estadio Jorge Mágico González in San Salvador from February 7 to 15, grossing $15,488,500, Pollstar reported. The national stadiums in Lima and Santiago each hosted four nights.

Madrid built her a stadium

The latest push came in Spain. Shakira closed a 13-show residency in Madrid on October 12 after more than 700,000 fans came through, Live Nation said. The run was first announced as three nights and grew to 13 because of demand. It was staged at a purpose-built temporary stadium designed by architecture firm BIG inside Macondo Park, wrapped in a cultural program called ES LATINA that brought in more than 1,500 artists and performers and over 400 hours of programming.

The first nine Madrid shows alone sold 452,097 tickets, an average of 50,233 a night, which put Shakira at No. 1 on Pollstar's LIVE75 chart for September. Live Nation Spain, which produced the residency, expects it to generate more than €200 million in economic impact for the city. Guests across the run included Dua Lipa, Laura Pausini, Alejandro Sanz, Maluma, Beéle, Manuel Turizo, Dani Martín and Bizarrap, and the residency set a record for Amazon Music's most-watched livestream music performance by a female artist, Pollstar reported.

Madrid had already hosted Bad Bunny earlier in the year: IQ reported he sold around 680,000 tickets across a 10-night stand at Riyadh Air Metropolitano from May 30 to June 14. Spain's live music market hit a record €807.2 million in ticket sales in 2025, according to the Association of Music Promoters, as cited by IQ.

What's left

The tour began in February 2025. It was first planned as an arena tour for fall 2024 before demand pushed Shakira into stadiums, Pollstar noted. Next up is Bishkek Arena in Kyrgyzstan on October 18, and her final listed date is a show at the Pyramids of Giza in Egypt on November 28.

For fans, the takeaway is how much of the modern touring record book is now being written by residencies and repeat stadium nights, a pattern also showing up in tours like Gracie Abrams' all-multi-night arena run, while Live Nation keeps expanding in Latin America with its Bizarro Chile deal. Live Nation produced the tour. Shakira is managed by Nadine Eliya at Shak Entertainment and represented by WME's Keith Sarkisian.
