Twenty One Pilots went home and went big. On October 17, 2026, the Columbus duo of Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun headlined a sold-out Ohio Stadium, the largest show of their career, and played what Kerrang! and setlist.fm both called the longest set they have ever performed: 38 songs across three stages.
From the Basement to the 'Shoe
The show was announced in May 2026 after a week of teasers. 10TV reported that fans were emailed to pick up “FROM HERE” lawn signs, that the same branding appeared at Columbus venues the band had played over the years, including The Basement, Skully's, Newport Music Hall, Kemba Live!, the Schottenstein Center and Nationwide Arena, and that the Ohio Stadium rotunda then lit up red with “TO HERE 10.17.26.” The venue's ticketing page billed the night as the biggest U.S. headline performance of the band's career. The Lantern, Ohio State's student newspaper, reported that Death Cab for Cutie opened, and the venue's event page also billed Emi Grace.
What they played
Kerrang! reported that the band opened with “Goner,” the closing track of 2015's Blurryface, for the first time ever as a show opener. Other moments it highlighted included “Robot Voices” with longtime collaborator Mark C. Eshleman, the live debut of Clancy's “At The Risk Of Feeling Dumb,” a cover of Elvis Presley's “Can't Help Falling In Love” and the first full performance of “Isle Of Flightless Birds” since 2014.
The setlist.fm log adds detail. The band started at 7:55 p.m. and finished at 11:05 p.m., a three-hour, ten-minute show with a short intermission. Joseph and Dun rode the “Stressed Out” tricycles to the B-stage, Dun crowd-surfed on a drum island during “RAWFEAR,” and drone displays lit up “Holding On to You” and the closer, “Trees.” For “Seven Nation Army,” the White Stripes cover, the Ohio State University Marching Band joined them. Joseph also had to restart the Elvis cover after mixing up the lyrics, the log notes.
Not their first time in the stadium
The band had played the stadium once before, 10TV noted, during the NHL Stadium Series game between the Columbus Blue Jackets and the Detroit Red Wings in 2025. This time the stadium was theirs.
What comes next
The homecoming is one of the last stops of the Breach touring cycle. Kerrang! reported that the band returns to Mexico in November 2026, and that after that their touring calendar is empty. For fans who were not in Columbus, the full setlist shows a band pulling from across its whole catalog, from Vessel and Blurryface to Breach.
