1. Overview
Ring Care is an optional insurance program offered by The Ring by LUX that provides one (1) no-questions-asked ring replacement per policy year. Ring Care costs $15.00 USD per year and auto-renews annually unless cancelled.
2. Eligibility
- You must own a Ring by LUX to purchase Ring Care.
- You must provide your Shopify order number from your original ring purchase, or declare that you purchased in person.
- One Ring Care policy covers one (1) ring at a time.
- You must provide a valid email address for verification and communication.
3. Coverage
- Coverage begins immediately upon successful payment.
- Coverage lasts for one (1) year from the purchase date.
- You are entitled to one (1) replacement ring per policy year.
- Replacement rings are the same model as the original Ring by LUX.
4. Approved Reasons
Any reason is accepted for a claim, including but not limited to:
- Lost ring
- Stolen ring
- Broken or cracked ring
- Defective ring
- Water damage
- Accidental damage
5. Exclusions
- Gifting: Ring Care does not cover giving your ring to another person. If a claim is filed with this reason, the claim will be denied and your ability to file claims will be blocked for 30 days.
- You cannot file more than one claim per policy year.
- 14-day waiting period: Claims cannot be filed within the first 14 days of purchasing a Ring Care policy.
6. Shipping
The replacement ring itself is covered by Ring Care at no additional cost. However, the customer is responsible for shipping costs on the replacement order. Shipping rates are calculated dynamically via USPS based on your delivery address.
7. How Claims Work
- Log in at thering.vip/ringcare
- Click "File a Claim" from your dashboard
- Select the reason and provide your shipping address
- Your claim is automatically approved (unless excluded)
- A Shopify order is created — you pay shipping only
- A confirmation email is sent with a payment link for shipping
- A support ticket is automatically created for tracking
Claims must be filed through thering.vip/ringcare. Claims via email, DMs, or other channels will not be processed.
8. Cancellation & Refunds
- You can cancel your Ring Care subscription at any time.
- If cancelled, coverage continues through the end of the paid year.
- No refunds are issued for Ring Care subscriptions.
- If your payment fails, your policy status will change to "past due" until resolved.
