Pollstar Live! 2027 Moves to Indian Wells Between Coachella Weekends

Pollstar Live! 2027 will take place April 13 to 15 in Indian Wells, California, marking the conference’s desert debut in the greater Palm Springs area, Pollstar News reported on October 5, 2026. The gathering is presented by Marsh and Ticketmaster. Hypebot noted the same dates and said the edition sits between the two Coachella weekends. Registration opened October 16, 2026, according to the official Pollstar Live site.

Pollstar described the conference as the world’s largest gathering of live entertainment professionals, promising three days of keynotes, panels, and networking near the kick-off of the spring 2027 festival season. The 2026 edition was held at Loews Hollywood Hotel and featured speakers including Kevin Shivers of THE·TEAM, C3 Presents’ Charles Attal, Peter Shapiro of Dayglo Presents, and Independent Artist Group’s Jarred Arfa, plus the 37th annual Pollstar Awards hosted by iHeartRadio’s Valentine with appearances by Metallica’s Lars Ulrich and the Eagles’ Timothy B. Schmit and Deacon Frey.

Sale pricing and Production Live!

The Pollstar Live site advertises limited-time registration sale pricing from October 16 through November 30, 2026, with prices increasing December 1. Listed sale rates are $1,199 for Pollstar Live! and $499 for Production Live!. The site frames the move as taking the conference “to the desert” while keeping the same live-industry focus, and registration is now open there.

Hypebot’s October 5 live-industry roundup listed the relocation alongside other trade news, including SeatGeek’s TourIQ launch and Ticketmaster transfer outages, underscoring how conference calendars, ticketing tech, and festival geography keep colliding in the same news cycle.

Why Indian Wells matters for the live trade

Parking the premier U.S. live-music conference between Coachella weekends puts agents, promoters, and venue operators in the same desert corridor as one of the year’s biggest festival draws. That timing matters for dealmaking around touring strategies that Ring has been tracking elsewhere, from Live Nation leadership timelines to AI platforms hiring into live discovery and Ticketmaster transfer headaches.

Hotel and full speaker details were still pending in the October 5 Pollstar announcement. For now the confirmed facts are the April 13 to 15 Indian Wells window, Marsh and Ticketmaster as presenters, and registration open since October 16, with sale pricing through November 30.
