If you want to understand how Dutch Melrose built a 750-million-stream catalog, look at 2025. He barely stopped releasing all year.
Almost monthly
The run included Forget You, Lovers to Friends, Angel, Love Bite, Burn, Love Again, Mariette, 1-800-LONELY-AF and more, plus the Mirror Mirror EP with PRETTY HAVØC. For most artists that output is a career; for Dutch it was a single year. It is a release schedule that would be impossible without running everything through his own MADKID Records.
The compounding effect
That pace is the strategy, not an accident. Constant releases keep the audience engaged, keep the algorithm feeding new listeners in, and keep the catalog growing wider so more songs can be discovered. In streaming, presence is everything; an artist who releases monthly is simply in front of people more often than one who releases yearly, and it compounds over time.
A year’s worth of songs in a year, and then some.
Straight into the tour year
That momentum carried directly into 2026, with new singles like Dirty Little Fiend and Love Me keeping the catalog current heading into The Heartbreak Hotel Tour. The full 2025 list is in the wiki.
